Lovely hotel with on site parking

The hotel was well situated with plenty of parking. Erica, the host, was so lovely and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Our bedroom was a very good size, clean and well equipped with toiletries and extra treats. Ginny, our dog, received a sausage at breakfast and was made a fuss of. Erica even gave us sandwiches and water bottles to take on our walks - without us even asking. A lovely hotel.

A beautiful building in a great location. Everything from the warm welcome to the room, breakfast and for being so dog friendly.

We were met by Erica on arrival who was most helpful and welcoming during our stay. Hotel was very clean and tidy, in a great location. Would definitely return and recommend for anyone visiting Torquay.

Erica was a brilliant host and was very friendly and attentive to our breakfast needs. The breakfast was delicious. I felt more choice for kids breakfast could have been offered. The hotel was homely and cosy, although an old building.

It was a great experience for us since everything was perfect. The manager, Erica was extremely helpful and friendly which made our experience even better.

Lovely old character property. Once you get over the steep driveway you’ll be welcomed with a delightful smile and a warm welcome. Our room was lovely and had a drinks fridge, which was a bonus as I like fresh milk in my morning coffee and I did not see that listed on the itinerary. The en-suite was lovely and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the free treats too. Breakfast (full English ?)was generous and well cooked and presented. More tea and toast offered too if you wanted. Nice walk into the town a bit of a climb to come back but super close to everything. Bus stop very close literally the bottom of the driveway. We would definitely stay again xx Thank you Erica x

Our stay was lovely and clean.

Our family room was very spacious very clean and very comfortable. Location was amazing and Erica was so friendly and helpful and extremely welcoming. Her daughter was also so friendly and nice. Breakfast was faultless. Staff were really friendly would definitely stay here again. Lovely seating area outside with lovely views. Free bottles and water and snacks for the kids is a great additional.

We were upgraded to an even larger room than we had requested, so we had plenty of space. Beds were comfy and the facilities were excellent, as was the breakfast in the morning. Staff was helpful and friendly throughout. Particularly impressive was the guest information booklet, which contained answers to seemingly every possible question about both the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood!

We were greeted by Jessica, who presented us with a small bottle of wine on arrival, and took our order for the mornings breakfast. Then when we checked out, she presented us with a small gift and a postcard written in Chinese and translated to English, she also presented us with a chinese bookmark. She was a very happy helpful lady.

So clean everywhere looked like the whole place had just had a spring clean! Lovely attention to detail from the beautiful china cups and golden teaspoons on the will appointed tea/coffee tray in our room to the gorgeous bathroom products. Wonderful comfy bed with super white clean sheets. The breakfast was perfect, just the right amount and well cooked. Staff were super friendly and made us very welcome. There’s a lovely small lounge with a bar and TV which is very comfortable and well appointed. The hotel architecture is Beautiful inside. All round a spectacular stay and would highly recommend. Also not to far to walk to the quayside and the shops.
